More About
Jenn is a high school English teacher, a writer, loves everything yoga, and feels very deeply connected to Stone Wave Yoga and its mission: “Come as you are,” a philosophy and motto that changed her life.

Yoga is a way of life for Jenn, and her practice embodies the mind, body, and spirit of Stone Wave’s motto. In the words of the great Buddha, “If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete,” and this is one of the many beautiful lessons Jenn has learned from her yogic journey, and what a journey it has been. Because of the space Stone Wave’s instructors provided, Jenn delved deeper into her practice and began embracing the light and stillness of life. She is a yoga lifer, for sure and has attended yoga as well as Ayurveda retreats, completed a 50-hour Yin+Restorative certificstion, and received her 200-hour certificate from Stone Wave Yoga (and she is eager to continue her education!)

During class, Jenn especially loves using props and literary readings and hopes to create a well-balanced, welcoming, thematic class that encourages all people to come as they are. Her mission is to provide the space for others that she was so gracefully given, for she believes that all forms of yoga, including yin and restorative, have the power to heal us, to help us release the things that may be hard for us to find and let go of.
