all class levels


If you’re unsure as to where you are in your yoga journey, please use this guide to see which class level is right for you. As always, safety first: be sure to consult your doctor before beginning this or any other exercise program. Our classes are offered at 30, 45, 50, 60 and 75 minute durations. While we describe levels below, you will find that many classes are All Levels or Mixed Levels.


What is a Mixed Level Class?  Come and grow your practice with us. Mixed level classes are great for any practitioner looking to expand their knowledge of the asanas and explore ways to improve their alignment, posture, and breath/body composition. These classes are often good for new practitioners.


What is an All Level Class? Come as you are! All levels classes are suitable for beginner, advanced, intermediate students, and everyone in between. These classes offer modifications that allow students to customize the class to fit their specific needs and level of expertise. Just Be!


 Stone Wave Level I – Very gentle. No experience needed. Beginner friendly.

In Level I, the basics of salutations are weaved throughout class and we will explore the foundations of postures.


Stone Wave Level II - Low Intensity. No experience needed. Experienced-Beginner or “Beginnermediate”

In Level II we will take everything you’ve learned in Level 1 and elevate it to more advanced postures, including peak poses.


Stone Wave Level III - Intermediate-Advanced. Moderate intensity. Some prior yoga experience is recommended. May include arm balance and headstand preparation techniques and practice.

In Level III you will expand your skills and take things to the next level. Intermediate to advanced classes require a strong knowledge of form and alignment to keep your body safe. It requires understanding how far you can push your body, when you need extra support and modifications, and when to slow down.


Stone Wave Level IV - Advanced. Vigorous and/or increased intensity, such as longer holds. Prior yoga experience, or good body awareness is recommended.May include arm balance and headstand preparation techniques and practice.

Yoga Level IV is a level up on intensity. This level is sometimes associated with movement enthusiasts and those who like to push the boundaries of what their bodies can do.


HIIT - All Levels. These classes are about working at your own personal best. High Intensity Interval Training is done on a mat barefoot. This is offered in both heated and non-heated rooms. Light weights are optional if you want to take it up a notch, but not required. 


Mat Pilates Classes - All Levels. These classes are about working at your own personal best.you. In Mat Pilates you will hold movements like planks, side planks, and core exercises to build your muscle groups and core strength. Much of the equipment that you find in a reformer class can also be used in a pilates mat workout. 


Yoga Sculpt - - All Levels. These classes are about working at your own personal best.you. Light weights are optional if you want to take it up a notch, but not required. 


Yin and Restorative Yoga - All Levels. While both Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga are slow-paced and stress-relieving practices, they are very different. Yin is all about stretching and applying gentle stress to certain tissues. Restorative Yoga is all about supporting your body, allowing it to relax and heal.


Meditation - Meditation is a contemplative practice, engaged in across various religious and spiritual traditions as a means of quieting, focusing and transforming the mind. Meditation cultivates self-awareness, and provides the optimum conditions for practicing the skill of mindfulness.


Senior Vitality Yoga - Senior Vitality Yoga, can also be done with a chair, and is a form of exercise created specifically for people with pre-existing health conditions or elderly people prevented from doing regular yoga. This practice provides all the benefits of regular yoga with a lower risk of injury and less strain on bones and joints.


Prenatal - Prenatal yoga is a style designed for pregnant women to practice, regardless of their due date. The mixture of stretching, controlled breathing and mental focus offers a variety of benefits to expectant mothers. Partners and family welcome to participate and support 


Kids and Movement - At Stone Wave: The Collective, we support a loving and supportive environment for all children to grow. In these programs, kids will learn body awareness, making healthy choices, intuitive movement, all while having fun!


Toddler and Me - Parents, Aunts, Uncles,m Friends - Everyone is welcome to join in Toddler and Me! Through play and creative movement toddlers and their guardians alike, will join us for a cheerful expression of mind, body and play.
