Why are we gathering for a retreat?

We are gathering to nourish ourselves and each other in shared practice.

We are gathering together to achieve something that we can’t achieve on our own - belonging.

We are gathering to focus ourselves on the most pressing topic of our life: true love.

What does it mean to love truly? What is possible for myself in a state of true love? What is possible in my

relationships in a state of true love? What is possible for our community, our country, and our world if we all knew

what true love is?

And so, we gather to practice.

We will sit together

in stillness,

in silence,

through discomfort,

to look lovingly,

to listen lovingly,

and to speak lovingly,

to ourselves

and each other

until maybe, even just a little

we will feel,

and know,

and embody,

true love.
