Join Lauren for an afternoon of discovering your yoga practice. This workshop is for anyone looking to begin their yoga practice, anyone getting back into their yoga practice, and also for seasoned yogis looking to remember the foundations and the basics. We'll cover alignment of some of the most common poses, transitions, modifications, and breathing.
After practicing yoga for several years, Lauren decided to venture to Asia to deepen her personal practice and expand her knowledge of eastern philosophy. A year of exploration culminated in northern India, where Lauren completed her 200 hour YTT with a focus on Ashtanga Vinyasa at Sampoorna Yoga in 2014. She has also completed trainings in yin, restorative and prenatal yoga at Stone Wave.
Lauren is passionate about holding space for people to embark on a path of self discovery; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. She believes that by inviting students to turn their awareness inward during yoga practice, they may find what works for their unique selves, both on and off the mat. Her feel-good classes aim to deliver a sense of physical wellness and overall calm to transcend the physical and temporal boundaries of a yoga class.
