Samantha started her yoga practice in 2009 while a student at Binghamton University. Like many, she started yoga for the physical benefits. A ballet dancer for twelve years, she enjoyed the beauty in the shapes yoga can create with the body. Yet through practice, she has found that yoga paints a more well-rounded picture, linking breath, movement, and peace of mind.
Samantha completed her 200-hour teacher training through Twin Cities Collective at Organic Yoga (Johnson City, NY) in February 2016. She completed her Restorative Yoga training in June 2017. She is a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance and previously taught yoga in the Binghamton area at Organic Yoga and TRYoga studios.
Through her classes, Samantha hopes to provide a safe space for all to explore and find comfortability in their bodies. Her classes incorporate functional movement and yoga to bring more meaningful movement into our modern, sedentary lives.
