Lisa Bermudez has been teaching yoga since 2009 and is excited to work with bodies of all types and practitioners of all levels. She believes the yoga practice is a doorway and a pathway and is something that can be incorporated into a most lifestyles.
She’s enthusiastic to work with new yogis, see progression in an advanced practitioners, and to see everyone make the time to show up for themselves.
In New York City, Lisa completed her 200 hour teacher training at Laughing Lotus, her 300 hour teacher training at Yogamaya, and she's also completed various 100 hour trainings and immersions in Ayurveda, Iyengar Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Anatomy, Kids Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga at Yoga Vida, The Bhakti Center, and Karma Kids Yoga.
In addition to teaching group yoga classes and private yoga sessions, Lisa is also a volunteer retreat leader with Souljourn Yoga (a 501c3 non profit that leads global yoga retreats to raise awareness and funding to support girls' education), a Reiki practitioner, and meditation enthusiast.
