Jeanette has been an avid yoga student, yoga practitioner and fitness enthusiast for nearly 2 decades . Through the art and practice of all the limbs of yoga Jeanette has found a roadmap to inner calm and stability from which to grow and teach . She found yoga initially as an escape from stress, but with continued dedication has followed the journey to deeper levels of living authentically, she sees this as journey that has no end following a yoga inspired path creating space for a richer, evolving sense of self.
Jeanette strives to create a safe and supported space in class where you are encouraged to connect to the most authentic parts of yourself. As a body positivity advocate she encourages you to come as you are with radical acceptance as a foundation for reaching higher.
Jeanette received her RYS training under the direction of Julie Ewald at NP Rock Yoga in New Paltz, New York; 200hr Vinayasa in 2016 & 100hr Hot Yoga Certification in 2018.
Jeanette is also a Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition, a Certified Dietitian- Nutritionist in NYS, and a Registered Dietitian with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She earned a Masters of Public Health from New York Medical College. Jeanette believes in bringing Science, Nutrition, Mind body practices and yoga/fitness to creating your most healthy and vibrant self throughout your lifespan.
