It’s Time To Bloom
Stone Wave Yoga: Immersion and Teacher Training Certificate Program
I am so excited to announce that Stone Wave Yoga will be offering an innovative teacher training and immersion program in 2020.
The certificate program offers an intensive (and expansive) curriculum that is designed to provide you with a deeper understanding of Yoga and explore ways on how to better incorporate the teachings into your lifestyle, belief system and asana practice.
What makes my heart leap for joy, is that this course will be taught with the collective knowledge of the various paths of yoga that our instructor community practices; allowing our students to explore and compare philosophical teachings and scripture - strengthening their roots and finding their way to fully bloom.
This program encourages a well-rounded approach to developing both your personal practice and your teaching skills. This course can be taken as an 8 week immersion or a 10 week 200 Hour Teacher Training certification course recognized byYoga Alliance.
Spreading Good Vibes
On Monday, July 1st we opened a second studio in Poughkeepsie. The new location is on Raymond Avenue (entrance at 2 LaGrange Avenue) - just steps away from the Vassar campus in the beautiful Arlington Business District.
Our vision remains strong; creating an environment that focuses on the mind-body-spirit connection. Yoga strengthens our bodies, helps us manage stress, and improves our self-image. Yoga at Stone Wave is community based and focuses on bringing accessibility and opportunity to residents of the Mid-Hudson Valley.
The new Poughkeepsie location is our first step in expanding our vision and spreading good vibes.

Stone Wave (n); a place of beauty, strength, and fluidity
OUR VISION + WELLNESS ART AND YOGA CENTER
Inspired by our view of Millbrook Cliff - part of the glorious Shawangunk Ridge, Stone Wave represents a breaking wave; power, strength and fluidity. For the cliff's to form, and be the mecca for climbers, hikers and nature enthusiasts it is today - the stone wave has been breaking for 1,000's of years - creating this stunning natural habitat.
The philosophy of Stone Wave Yoga is inspired by nature. We believe that - like stone, we seek strength and stability and yet - like a breaking wave, we remain agile and flexible; allowing for deeper growth and openness to beautiful change.
Created by Liz Glover Wilson, Artist and Yoga Instructor and Keith Buesing, Landscape Designer and Topiary Artist - Stone Wave Yoga and Wellness Retreat Center opened in June 2017, and offers a space for everyone.
At Stone Wave, we are focused on creating an environment that focuses on the mind-body-spirit connection. Yoga strengthens our bodies, helps us manage stress, and improves our self-image. Yoga at Stone Wave is community based and focuses on bringing accessibility and opportunity to residents of the Mid-Hudson Valley.
Right next door to Stone Wave Yoga is an arts center. Established in 2016, Sunflower Art Studios is a non-profit focused on bringing accessibility to the arts in the Mid-Hudson region and generating opportunities to support a broad scope of creative activity to residents of all ages.
