What will be covered?

This will be a deep-dive into Yogic cultivation and guide work on the path. We will explore the teachings of Raja Yoga as the central map and incorporate broader Yogic, Vedantic, and Ayurvedic teachings and practices to support the journey. You will graduate with a sense of clarity about how to share the practice of meditation with your community and students.

What to bring

Each session, you will bring comfortable clothes to sit in, your meditation binder (which will be provided) and readings. Be prepared to purchase two books for this course. Titles and authors to be announced.

Do I get CEU’s for this course?

When you complete the course, you will receive a certificate and 50 CEU’s. Your CEU’s are recognized by Stone Wave Yoga and can also be submitted to Yoga Alliance for further acknowledgement.

Syllabus

  • Meditation 201+

    • Meditation 201 is a Raja-Yoga based course that introduces and explores the practices of Meditation and Yogic Self-Cultivation. Through the sitted practice, we open the space for transformational and transcendental consciousness to become more present and nurtured. Together, we support each other on the path to becoming clearer in our connection to Self and closer to living our best lives.

    • It’s Meditation 201+ because you will be experiencing a 10-week foundational level meditation course (Meditation 201) as a participant and an apprentice to teaching. This will provide real-time exposure to how to hold space, facilitate discussions, and nourish inquiry.
